A company that builds digital democracy tools to facilitate citizen engagement in governments, schools and organizations.

Developed Caruna.be, an interactive platform to collect public opinions on the role of healthcare in society. The app received over 10,000 contributions from Belgian citizens, providing critical insights into public expectations of healthcare providers.
Designed and implemented Burgerbegroting.be, a participatory budgeting platform for the district of Antwerp, designed as a “Tinder-style” app allowing citizens to swipe left or right on proposed projects. Garnered over 1,000 responses in the first week, giving residents direct influence in local budget allocation and resulting in the funding of high-priority, citizen-backed initiatives.
Lead developer for City Monitor (University of Bern), a tool that allows Swiss residents to compare the financial health of municipalities and see how their tax contributions are allocated.
Implemented web accessibility enhancements in line with the European Commission’s Web Accessibility Directive. Improved inclusivity on sites such as vrt.be/nl/edubox, making them more accessible for users with visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive impairments.
Actively mentoring junior developers, providing regular code reviews, pair programming sessions, and guidance on modern web development practices to boost their confidence and skill set.

Developed a task management platform for publisher managers, streamlining ad campaign execution and improving operational efficiency.

Designed and built a new notifications system used across BuySellAds’ six platforms, allowing users to customize their notifications, greatly improving user experience.

Built an admin interface for a platform that facilitated the commissioning of custom photography, significantly increasing the company’s turnover.
Improved user experience by developing tools for companies to ﬁnd photographers based on their location, equipment and specializations.
Designed and implemented features to enable 500PX’s photo editors to give quick feedback to photographers, ensuring a better quality end product.
